The room was fine overall, nothing too special. The beds felt decent, but there was just something about it that made the stay feel average.

It worked okay, but the WiFi kept dropping often, haha. Not the worst, but definitely could be more reliable.

We stayed here with our kids for a quick trip, and overall it was okay. The room was comfortable enough and the pool was definitely a hit with the kids. The main downside was the food — there weren’t a ton of kid-friendly options, so meals got a little repetitive. The staff were nice, but things felt a bit disorganized at times, and after a while I got tired of having to ask or follow up on little things. Not a bad place for families, just not as smooth or easy as I was hoping.

The pool was actually nice, I liked it. The spa though... I don’t know, it just felt a bit tired and not as relaxing as I was hoping. Not terrible, just kind of meh.

After a long drive, it was nice that the front desk got me checked in quickly and were really friendly. The room keys worked right away too

Parking ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. It was too far away, and there were just too many steps involved to get from the car to where I needed to be. it felt like a nightmare before I even got inside

We stayed at Black Rock Mountain Resort for a quick little trip, the thing that stuck with me most was the staff. I remember thinking, okay, this is nice, but the people here are actually what made it feel comfortable.
Everyone we talked to was friendly in a really natural way, not that overly scripted kind of friendly that can feel a little much. The front desk helped us with a couple of small questions, and then later they actually remembered us, which I thought was such a nice touch.

Housekeeping and the people around the lobby were just as kind, too. It was one of those stays where you don’t have to think too hard about anything because everything feels easy. I’d definitely come back.

The place really needs better upkeep. There were broken fixtures, the halls were dusty, and overall it just felt like nobody was really taking care of it. I also couldn’t shake the feeling that there might be some hidden fees or extra charges waiting to pop up, which made the whole stay feel a little uncomfortable.

I stayed here for the weekend, the bed was just okay. It wasn’t awful or anything, but it felt a little too firm for me, so I didn’t sleep as comfortably as I’d hoped. The pillows were fine. I still got some rest, but for the price, I probably expected a bit more. If you’re picky about mattresses like I am, it might be worth keeping in mind.

Overall, we felt safe during our stay. There was security around, the doors worked like they should, and the parking area felt secure too. I did feel a little pressured at times just with the pace of everything, but safety-wise we had no issues.

The walls felt really thin, and I could hear people talking and doors slamming throughout the night, so it was hard to get decent sleep. I reached out about it, but the response felt like a copy-paste support reply rather than someone actually addressing the issue, which made it more frustrating.

The weird part is, breakfast seemed like it should’ve been fine, but it just wasn’t. The eggs were cold, refills took forever, and overall it didn’t feel worth it.

I’d probably stay again if I had to, but the bathroom definitely made the whole place feel cheaper than it should...

I booked this place expecting some nice mountain views, but our room mostly looked out at the parking lot and nearby buildings. It was disappointing, especially for the price. The location also felt a little awkward since there wasn’t much close by unless you were driving. I also kind of felt left in the dark about what the view and area would actually be like, so it didn’t really match what I had in mind.

I booked a room through Blackrockmountainresort and it was straightforward. It only took maybe a few minutes to sort through the dates, room options, and prices, and everything was laid out clearly enough that I wasn’t stuck clicking around forever.
